Green Supply Chain and Procurement webinar
If you’re looking to specify and buy sustainably or want to influence your supply chain to become greener, this one’s for you.
About this Event
Are you sick of packaging? Do you end up with more waste from others than yourself? Do you know where your supplies are coming from? Do you have the tools to manage this?
The Green Business Network’s next seminar will look at how you can buy greener, and how you can influence your supply chain to be greener.
Having influence on your supply chain and what you buy can:
• Reduce waste
• Improve relationships with suppliers
• Protect you against reputation loss from rogue suppliers
• Improve environmental performance
• Reduce transport
• Cut greenhouse gas emissions.
Matt Roper, a green supply chain and procurement specialist, will be the speaker for this seminar (https://www.greenbuying.co.uk).
He will give us a rundown on how to:
• Manage suppliers
• Persuade suppliers to do things differently
• Specify to avoid waste
• Check what your suppliers’ suppliers are up to.
We will start with a formal presentation, and then move on to group discussion, where you can share information and best practice with other Network members.
This seminar is free to GBN members, who should book via the Green Business Network website. Non-members are very welcome to attend at a cost of £10 +VAT administration fee.
