About this event
Funding is a challenge for businesses of all sizes, particularly amidst the pandemic; there are still plenty of business grant schemes open to applications. Unlike loans, grants don’t need to be paid back so they are an attractive option for all organisations, but the application process can often be complicated and a little daunting.
Sponsored by the Innovation Bridges project, the University of Bedfordshire’s Research & Enterprise Service, will be holding an informative event focusing on ‘How to apply for grant funding in your area’ taking place on Wednesday 8th September 2021 from 09:00-11:00am.
Our regional partners from Bedford Borough Council, Central Bedfordshire Council, Luton Borough Council, SEMLEP and Innovate UK will be joining the event to discuss the type of financial support available in your area with topics including:
- What support is available in your region. e.g. the Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG), business support grants, as well as other funding opportunities and how to access these.
- Business success storiesand what other businesses have used their grant for.
- Examples of funded business supportprogrammes in your region.
- The grant writing application process – how to write a successful grant application.
The event will also offer delegates a tour of the stunning Elizabethan grounds at our Putteridge Bury Estate.
There are a limited number of spaces available for this one-off event and spaces are filling fast. If this is of interest to you or any colleagues then we would encourage you to register as soon as possible.
