This workshop ensures you will:
- Be able to understand the purpose of Incoterms
- Understand who pays for the freight
- Understand who takes the risk for the goods being lost or damaged
- Be able to understand the definitions of the Incoterms 2020 rules
- Understand your role under each Incoterm
- Be able to identify some of the practical issues around Incoterms
- Be aware of when and how to raise an insurance document
- Be able to understand the reasons for Incoterms
- Be able to identify where to go for help and information on Incoterms
- Be aware of EXW and DDP, and the specific challenges with these two Incoterms
- Be aware of FAS, FOB, CFR and CIF, and why these are restricted to only seafreight movements
- Be aware of FCA, CPT, CIP, DAP, DPU, and the differences between each Incoterm
From the ease of your chair learn how to be successful with your international transactions. These virtual half day training courses will provide you with the ability to take the BCC International Trade Assessment. A certificate will be awarded for each pass. Achieve a total of 6 passes and you will earn an International Foundation in Trade award.
