After two of the most challenging years known to businesses across the country, Central Bedfordshire Council is encouraging local businesses to enter the fourth SME Luton and Bedfordshire Business Awards, to celebrate their success and achievements.

This year Central Bedfordshire Council and The Green Business Network are sponsoring the Sustainability Award, for businesses who reduce or remove the harmful impact that products or services have on the environment.

Councillor Steven Dixon, Executive Member for Sustainability and Transformation, said: “We’re delighted to be supporting the SME Luton and Bedfordshire Business Awards this year. The Sustainability Award looks to celebrate the best green business in the area and is a great way to showcase some of the amazing sustainable businesses we have in Central Bedfordshire. The awards are also a great networking opportunity. As outlined in our Sustainability Plan, as a council, we are committed to delivering services to residents and businesses where we can, that do not adversely impact our environment.”

Businesses have until 3pm on Thursday 16 June 2022 to enter up to three different categories and winners of certain categories will go through to the National Business Awards in December.
