Central Bedfordshire Local Plan Consultation
Central Bedfordshire Council has started working on a new Local Plan that will set the vision and framework for the future of the area. It will be supported by a substantial evidence base and informed through engagement with local communities, businesses and key stakeholders. It will determine the future strategy for growth by addressing needs and opportunities in relation to homes, jobs, community facilities and infrastructure, as well as seeking to safeguard and enhance the environment and enabling adaptation to climate change.
A presentation/summary of how this process will be taken forward and what will be involved, can be seen through this link.
A short survey has been created allowing local businesses to feedback on how they would like to be involved during the preparation of the new Local Plan. This also provides an opportunity to tell us about any projects or plans that they are working on.
The survey will only take a few minutes to complete and can be accessed through: Snap Surveys (welcomesyourfeedback.net) Responses will need to be submitted by 31st May 2024.
