Residents looking for work or training opportunities are invited to a free careers and employment event on Wednesday, 28 November at The Rufus Centre, Steppingley Road, Flitwick, MK45 1AH

Central Bedfordshire Council will be exhibiting at the event and will be joined by Kier Group PLC, Center Parcs, ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, The Central Bedfordshire Academy of Social Work and Early Intervention and Vauxhall Motors, who are among the early businesses and organisations to confirm their places. There will be an employability support zone including representatives from 4YP, National Careers Service, Central Bedfordshire College, Jobcentre Plus, Bedfordshire Employment and Skills Service, and University of Bedfordshire.

You will have the opportunity to speak with many of the area’s leading businesses and organisations about their current vacancies, work experience, apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities, and there will also be hands-on taster sessions and talks by the experts.
