Find Your Future website, launched August 2019, aims to provide a highly credible, single point of access online information source for young people and their parents which also showcases education and employment opportunities in Central Bedfordshire.

The website features a Careers sector section which focuses on those employment areas that are enjoying growth locally or experiencing skills gaps. Using a mixture of traditional text, local facts and figures and videos it aims to bring to life the local context providing young people with information about the skills needed for employment in the area.

An Education and Training section supports making choices at key transition stages and links to national well established websites. There is also an interactive map for apprenticeship vacancies.

The How to Find a Job section includes information on job search, CV writing and preparation for Interview – again using videos, downloadable fact sheetsand interactive quizzes.

We very much would like the website to continue evolving, providing a rich source of information for our young people and we need employers to play a part in ensuring it does just that.
