Superfast broadband vouchers available for Central Bedfordshire Businesses
Central Bedfordshire, Bedford Borough and Luton Borough are now eligible areas under the Government’s Connection Vouchers Scheme.
This means that small and medium-sized businesses, registered charities, social enterprises and sole traders can get a superfast broadband connection with a voucher worth up to £3,000, to help them get connected. And they can club together to make their vouchers go further.
Off-the-shelf and bespoke packages can be purchased from a wide range of registered suppliers.
See Destination Digital for information about the scheme including eligibility and how to apply.
Destination Digital has been set up by Cambridgeshire County Council and is administrating the scheme locally
It is a first come, first served scheme, operating until 30 March 2016, but finishing sooner than this if the national pot of money runs out. So, if you are interested, the sooner you apply the better.
James Cushing, Central Bedfordshire Council Head of Investment in the Business and Regeneration Directorate, said: "This is a further boost to businesses in the area. I would urge all eligible organisations, that are seeking to grow or improve their digital offer, to act fast and discover whether this scheme can benefit them."
