In the meantime, Unilever are accepting applications for Level 3 and Level 6 programmes, which are now available for September at the Colworth Research & Development site. Act quick, closing date for applications for these programmes is 28th February 2020:

Level 3 Programme:

•R&D Refreshment Engineer: work alongside experienced engineering colleagues to support the manufacture of tea based drinks and ice cream products, using some of the most innovative, modern and technically advanced equipment at our world-class pilot-plant and precision engineering prototyping facility, while studying for a Level 3 Engineering Technician qualification.

Level 6 Degree Programmes:

•Food Professional: study for a Food Science & Technology BSc while experiencing working in different R&D ice cream & beverages teams throughout this 5-year apprenticeship.

•Packaging Professional: develop your skills in Packaging Excellence, Design, Sustainability and Innovation project delivery, working with different Packaging teams while studying for a Packaging BSc.

•Mechanical Design Engineer: work as part of the R&D team providing process engineering & automation solutions and learn about designing & prototyping, installation & commissioning while studying for an Engineering BEng.

•Data Scientist: contribute to the development of new models and computational tools to assess the safety and sustainability of Unilever products, working alongside Informaticians, Modellers, Chemists, Toxicologists and Biologists, while studying for a Data Science BSc.
